System Design II

3 credit hours

This course is concerned with advanced software development methods, with emphasis on formal specifications and design methodologies, including functional and object oriented design, proto-typing, and software verification and validation. Formal aspects of software reuse, reverse engineering, software reliability engineering and current process specification will be discussed. The team approach in software development, configuration management, change management and control, release planning and quality assurance will be examined in detail.
