About this course
An introduction to stochastic models in management science. Topics discussed include probability theory, Markov chains, waiting lines, inventories, reliability, and decision analysis. An introduction to management science emphasizing linear optimization. Topics discussed include linear programming, the simplex method, sensitivity analysis, assignment, and transportation problems.
Prerequisites
62:171 STAT and 62:182 MATH and 62:290 MATH with "C+" or better grades.
